Director of Teaching and Learning Resources

• Fulfill the responsibilities of a Webb faculty member
• Collaborate with faculty to make the library a hub of 21st century ideas and thinking, through research-based curricular projects, stand-alone events, and support of blended and online learning tools and programs
• Liaise with the Director of Technology to evaluate, promote, and use existing and emerging technologies to support teaching and learning
• Work with the Dean of Faculty to design professional growth opportunities for faculty in relevant areas
• Establish yearly programmatic goals for the library in consultation with the Director of Academic Affairs, develop an annual report at the conclusion of the academic year
• Coordinate all operations of the W. Russell Fawcett Memorial Library
• Foster a culture of reading among students, both in support of academic goals and for pleasure
• Maintain active membership in professional organizations and act as liaison with relevant vendors and organizations
• Promote the ethical use of information, helps educate the students and faculty in the philosophy and mechanics of citation and fair use
• Work with academic department chairs to coordinate the adoption and acquisition of course materials
• Supervise library and seasonal support personnel
